Description
The contractor shall perform monthly preventative maintenance on Doors 20E and 20W, quarterly preventative maintenance on Doors 546N, 546S, 592N, and 592W, and emergency maintenance� in accordance with the statement of work. The contractor must be a� GSA Authorized Safe, Vault Technician, and Inspector LSI30 and have Lockmasters Security Institute LKM10K Lock Series Certification. Monthly Maintenance (Doors 20E and 20W) (CLIN 0001) 3.1. The contractor shall perform monthly preventative maintenance on Doors 20E and 20W in accordance with original manufacturer�s recommendation and applicable documents listed in Section 2.0. Scheduled visits shall be between 28 to 33 calendar days from the previous visit. The contractor shall document actions taken on each lock and document any discovered deficiencies (i.e. wear items, etc.) in CDRL A001. 3.2. If the contractor recommends upgrading any wear items to maintain the integrity of the lock, the contractor shall contact NFPC Code 1123 to identify the specific lock. Upon NFPC inspection and approval, the Government shall provide Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Lock Service Kit, Part #LKM10KSKIT for use. Quarterly Maintenance (Doors 546N, 546S, 592N, and 592W) (CLIN 0002) 3.4. The contractor shall perform quarterly preventative maintenance on Doors 546N, 546S, 592N, and 592W in accordance with original manufacturer�s recommendation and applicable documents listed in Section 2.0. Scheduled visits shall be between 90 to 95 calendar days from the previous visit. The contractor shall document actions taken on each lock and document any discovered deficiencies (i.e. wear items, etc.) in CDRL A001. 3.5. If the contractor recommends upgrading any wear items to maintain the integrity of the lock, the contractor shall contact NFPC Code 1123 to identify the specific lock. Upon NFPC inspection and approval, the Government shall provide Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Lock Service Kit, Part #LKM10KSKIT for use. 3.6. If any lock is beyond economical repair and presents a security risk, the contractor shall contact NFPC Code 1123 to identify the specific lock. Upon NFPC inspection and approval, the Government shall provide Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) LOCKMASTERS Lock, Part #LKM10KPX10S2 for use. 3.7. At the discretion of Code 1123 and NFPC Code 1410, the scheduled monthly and quarterly preventative maintenance visits described in Sections 3.1 and 3.4 can occur on the same day to reduce overall travel costs. Emergency Corrective Maintenance Repairs (CLIN 0003) 3.8. In the event of an emergency corrective maintenance repair call, the contractor shall report to the facility and repair the defective lock(s) within twenty four (24) hours subject to facility operation schedules Monday thru Friday, 0900 � 1700. 3.9. If the contractor recommends replacing any part to maintain the integrity of the lock, the contractor shall contact NFPC Code 1123 to identify the specific lock. Upon NFPC inspection and approval, the Government shall provide Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Lock Service Kit, Part #LKM10KSKIT for use. If additional parts and labor are required to bring the lock to a fully functional security device, the contractor shall utilize the FAR 13.302-2 Unpriced Purchase order procedures as described in Section 1.2. The contractor shall document actions taken on the lock and document the required repairs in CDRL A002. 1123 3.10. If the contractor recommends replacing the entire lock, the contractor shall contact NFPC Code 1123 to identify the specific lock. Upon NFPC inspection and approval, the Government shall provide Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) LOCKMASTERS Lock, Part #LKM10KPX10S2 for use. If additional parts and labor are required to bring the lock to a fully functional security device, the contractor shall utilize the FAR 13.302-2
