- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT request for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the following: The interest and capability of large or small businesses able to meet the requirements listed below; Size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing for the proposed acquisition. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking sources to provide a Mikroscan L5 Bundle Live Mode Robotic Microscope, or Equal, for the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System located at 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105. The Mikroscan L5 live robotic microscope can remotely perform a comprehensive, traditional microscope evaluation of the original glass slide specimen. It features a complete set of objectives 2X, 4X, 10X, 20X, and 40X for true magnification. Time to view is 9 seconds per slide. Connects with existing PACS and LIMS through an Active Directory no HL7 interface required. The L5 Bundle system with Live-Q software includes one year of remote access software license package, implementation and user training. Live Robotic Microscope System to be delivered FOB Destination to the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System. Contractor installation is NOT required.
