- NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE SOLE SOURCE AWARD The Lake Mead Major Acquisition Buying Office, on behalf of The National Park Service (NPS) Lake Mead National Recreation Area, intends to award to Advantage Solutions, LLC of Mesa, Arizona on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) � Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to procure the supply, software configuration, and installation of (21) Ingenico iPP320 pin pads, (21) CR950 barcode scanners, and (21) Ingenico iPP320 Flexible Drive-Thru handles for use in the park�s existing Point-of-Sale system. Advantage Solutions, LLC is currently the service provider contracted to maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade the park�s Point-of-Sale system. The equipment is Datasym and the software used is Advantage. The current service contract holder�s warranty is null and void if another contractor works on the system. Statutory authority 41 USC 253(c)(1) � only one responsible source � is applicable. The NAICS code is 333318 Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The NPS anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price purchase order to Advantage Solutions, LLC. for this requirement within one week from the posting of this notice. Interested parties that believe they can satisfy the requirements listed above for the NPS may identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing via email to Michelle_Bennett@nps.gov. All responses to this notice of intent must be submitted so that they are received at Michelle_Bennett@nps.gov no later than June 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM PST.
