Title: Altitude Research Support Services �Solicitation:�� W81XWH20Q0122 Notice Type: Request for Information (RFI) Response Date:� 15 June 2020 NAICS:� ����������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������� ����������� �� 531120 � Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings (except Mini-warehouses) Scope:� This new requirement is to acquire facilities for high altitude (>3000 meters above sea level) research laboratory and quarters. Site needs to be reachable in <12 hours of travel for test participants departing from sea level research site (Natick, MA or other eastern US military training site.) Housing must be available for up to 8 volunteers Transportation of participants (up to 60 total) to and from airport and for staff to and from test facility is required. Contractor will provide six basic meals (three lunches and three dinners) for the volunteers. Specific Task/Requirement: �Provide high altitude quarters for research staff and volunteers. Facility should be clean upon arrival, have working heat, water, and electricity. Facility should have a lightning rod on the roof. Ten sets of bunkbeds, with sheets and blankets, will be provided. Provide transportation for staff from Blake Lodge to the high altitude facility each morning and back each evening and for medical support as required. Contractor will use experienced 4-wheel drivers for mountain transport and be available as needed and on-time. � Provide transportation for volunteers to and from Santa Fe Airport to high altitude quarters using safe vehicles and drivers. � �Provide six basic meals (3 lunch, 3 dinner) for test participants. Schedule will be provided. � RFI INSTRUCTIONS: Interested parties are asked to respond to this RFI and submit a capabilities statement that supports the focus of this RFI. �Please review the place of performance requirements. Please submit written responses via email in Microsoft Office 2000 or 2007 format.� All responses should be complete: in 12-point font; and not to exceed 5 pages total, including graphics, tables, and appendices. No hardcopies shall be accepted. No written solicitation document is available at this time. Telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list shall be maintained. No inquiries regarding any potential future acquisition activities shall be entertained. There is proprietary information involved in this requirement which may preclude some established clinical trial centers from competing on this requirement, although no decisions have been finalized at this time.
