Description
Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: VA NY/NJ Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN2 ) intends to negotiate a sole source procurement for a optima XE-90 Ultra Centrifuge with the SW-40 swinging Bucket Rotors with Beckman-Coulter as the only vendor capable of providing this product compatible with the currently installed system. The Beckman-Coulter Ultra Centrifuge requirements include the following: Optima XE-90 IVD Ultra Centrifuge, PN# A99833. Optima SW-40 TI Swinging Bucket Rotor, PN# 331302 We intend to conduct this procurement in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) and under the authority of FAR 6. 302-1 as no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. This is notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents are available for this requirement. If a Small Business Contractor, believes it can meet the requirements of this proposed procurement, supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements Interested parties may submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within 5 calendar days of the publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. If responding, please keep in mind that your response should show clear and convincing evidence that your company can meet the requirement. ALL responses shall be submitted (by e-mail only) directly to the contracting officer, Darryl W. Nielsen at darryl.nielsen@va.gov. All Responses must be received no later than : Wednesday, June 10, 2020 by 4:30 pm EST. NO TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL BE ACCEPTED. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a separate competitive procurement. Disclaimer: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. No reimbursement for any costs associated with providing capability statements will be provided by the Government. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
