- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to utilize other than full and open competition to award a contract for the integration and testing support for the DDG 1000 Class hereafter, referred to as the Zumwalt Combat� System (ZCS) Acquisition, Sustainment, and Modernization (AS&M) to Raytheon Technologies, Missile Defense Systems (RMD), Tewksbury using other than full and open competition pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. RMD will be awarded a contract for the integration and testing support for the ZCS AS&M. �The integration and testing support for the ZCS AS&M includes hull-specific Mission Systems Equipment (MSE), Total Ship Computing Environment Infrastructure (TSCEi) hardware/equipment and� non-recurring engineering services supporting: Combat System installation and integration; Hull Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E); Engineering Control System (ECS) and Mission Systems Activation (MSA); computer program development; correction and maintenance; repairs; design excursions; supportability studies; obsolescence mitigation; threat analysis; testing; training; integrated logistics support; and development of shipboard integrated training The Government intends to award a single contract for this effort resulting in a five (5)-year period of performance, with one (1) base year and four (4) option years, to continue activation, sustainment, and modernization of ZCS for all three ships currently supported under contract N00024-17-C-5145. The Government anticipates contract award in Fiscal Year 2023.
