Description

REPAIRS TO BLDG 168 WELLNESS CENTER � Project VGLZ 182033VGLZ 182033 Repair Building 168 Wellness Center consists of �the conversion of the existing bell tower to a clock tower, replacement of the tower�s lower roof, repair of the towers masonry to include concrete units, and �window demolition /replacement.� The conversion of the clock tower includes the installation of clock faces along with electrical work and materials to provide necessary power to accommodate new exterior clock installation as noted in the drawings and specifications.� The upper part of the tower will require masonry/concrete repair as in noted in the drawings and specifications.� The tower�s lower roof is to be replaced with both new roofing and insulation as noted in the drawings and specifications. The window replacement consists of the demolition of existing window systems.� The historic sizing of window openings is to remain as is and new windows are to mimic the originals as closely as possible.� New energy efficient low �e� tinted blast resistant glazing as noted in the drawings and specifications are to be provided and installed. Wood blocking and interior hardwood window trim to match existing as indicated on drawings. Please note that this summary is not all inclusive of the requirements of this project.� The contractor is required to read all specifications, drawings, and contract documents related to this project (to be given when solicitation is actually issued)
