Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice issued pursuant to FAR 5.201.� The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) construction contract on a competitive basis using FAR Part 15 Procedures. �NUWC Newport, RI has a requirement for HVAC renovations. The area of the renovation includes approximately 3400 square feet. The work includes the removal of existing and provision of HVAC systems, Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units, chilled water air handling unit, ductwork, insulation, Direct Digital Controls, Testing and Balancing, and incidental related work. �The onsite supervision will require one (1) qualified individuals serving the roles of superintendent, quality control manager, and site safety and health officer. � Per FAR 36.204 - Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated price is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. �Bonds and insurance will be required. This procurement will be solicited as a 100% Small Business Set Aside, as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP).� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 238220.� The Small Business Size Standard is $16,500,000.00. The Product Service Code is Z2HB, Repair Or Alteration Of Government-Owned Government-Operated (Gogo) R&D Facilities It is currently anticipated that an organized site visit will be conducted. �Further details will be released upon issuance of RFP# N6660420R8248, which is anticipated to be on or about 25 June 2020 and will be posted at�https://beta.sam.gov. �Offerors are responsible for monitoring information posted at this website. �The closing date for receipt of proposal will be established in the RFP.� Potential offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
