- The Veteran s Administration (VA) Office of Research and Development, Regional Procurement Office East in Pittsburgh, PA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Imotions Inc., based in Boston, Massachusetts on behalf of the VA Atlanta Healthcare System. The requirement is to provide one eye tracking system for planned VA medical studies. The vendor will provide a head and eye tracking system with all the salient characteristics necessary (as a minimum) for this requirement (listed below). SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: Eye tracking capability with integrated head motion capture using multiple cameras. Single platform for integrating eye tracking with experimental control and stimuli presentation. Ability to synchronize eye tracking data with what is being viewed on the screen by the respondent. Ability to synchronize data from other biometric sensors including facial expressions, galvanic skin response, and heart rate. Easily collect data from multiple sensors like eye tracking, facial expression analysis, GSR, and EEG. Automatic and real-time synchronization of all sensor data All happens on one single PC and in one single software application. Ability to build advanced study designs (within- and between-subject, block, randomized etc). Stimuli presentation - multimedia capabilities including images, videos, live websites, surveys, mobile phone apps, software interfaces, gaming, VR, AR, etc. Up to 3 camera feeds supported. Data collection respondent management, real-time viewing, behavioral metrics, etc. Markup & annotations to create live or post-processing markers with annotations Data import, export and analysis - export raw data, summary metrics, data visualizations on video and static stimuli, etc. Face/environment camera, to include ability to record respondent s face and / or environment from up to three different camera feeds. Integration with 20+ eye tracking models from a range of vendors such as Tobii, SMI, EyeTech, GazePoint, Smart Eye etc. Advanced analytic tools for screen-based multimedia stimuli (images, videos, websites, games, software interfaces and 3D environments). Real-time visualization of key eye tracking metrics such as live gaze, pupil size, and distance to screen. Website aggregation supported with Chrome, Firefox and Edge Static and dynamic areas of interest (AOIs) and heatmaps. The requirement will take place at a VA facility in Atlanta, Georgia. The sole source is pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however; any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement and supporting documentation to the contracting office no later than Monday, June 12, 2020, (10:00 AM, EST).
