Description

This is a SPECIAL NOTICE to announce a SITE VISIT for an�upcoming Building Demolition Services Project at Columbia VA Health Care System in Columbia, SC.� The Site Visit will be held on 19 June 2020, beginning at 10:00 AM EST.� The purpose of this event is to provide a brief overview of the requirements for the upcoming Demolition Services Project, to address specific questions relating to the project, and to seek information from the industry that can be of�value in acquisition planning for this effort.� THIS SITE VISIT ANNOUCEMENT is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and there may be no contract awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. LOCATION The Site Visit will be conducted on 19 June 2020, beginning at 10:00 AM EST.� Registered vendors are required to meet at 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Building 20, Columbia, SC 29209�for sign-in NLT 9:30 AM EST. REGISTRATION All interested vendors wishing to attend the�Site Visit�must pre-register no later than�4:00 PM EST on 15 June 2020, with the following contact information: name, affiliation(s), phone number, email address, and physical address.� The POC for attending the�Site Visit�is Stephen Crosby, Engineering Services Projects Chief, (email address: Stephen.Crosby@va.gov).� Visitors shall not exceed 5 representatives per company.� Contractors will be required to take necessary safety precautions by wearing a mask and maintain a 6-foot distance between persons.
