Description

SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT Thoracic Navigation System,. This Sources Sought Notice is used to determine sources for providing Thoracic Navigation System, for the West Roxbury, MA Veterans Affairs Medical Center. NAICS code 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The responses to this announcement will assist in determining the socio-economic set aside if feasible. The Veterans Administration is required by Public Law 109-461 to give first priority to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) concerns if there should be sufficient firms available to compete under a set aside. If insufficient veteran owned and small business responses are not received, the action will be advertised as full and open competition, in which case, all interested parties responding shall be eligible to provide quotes. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Interested parties submitting a response to this inquiry must include the following information: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify applicable socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates firm s ability to meet the above requirement. All responses shall be submitted no later than 12 June 2020 at 10:00 AM EST. Responses shall be emailed to Phillip.crockett@va.gov. STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS: Thoracic Navigation System, West Roxbury, MA Veterans Affairs Medical Center. This solicitation uses a Brand Name or Equal description of the product. This permits prospective contractors to offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name. All offers must work with existing equipment that has already been purchased and is currently in use at the station. ITEM DESCRIPTION QUANTITY: MED EQUIPMENT UPGRADE: AAS00161-20 1. Thoracic Navigation system Planning Software, Procedure Software, 8 GB USB Flash Drive, Configured PC Processor, Isolation Transformer, Location Board, Two (2) Locatable Guide Connecting Cables, Two (2) Location Board Connecting Cables, One (1) Patient Sensor Cable, Flat Panel Touchscreen, Location Subsystem, Foot Switch, IR Remote Control, Keyboard and Mouse, User Manual, Custom Cart, Pre-Installation Service, Installation and Two Room/Bed Qualifications at time of installation 1 EA 2. Obsolescence Protection Coverage includes all Software / Hardware enhancements and upgrades as they become available through 6/30/2021 All software upgrades and supporting hardware will be installed, calibrated and tested by our Technical Service organization. 1 EA 3. The quote includes trade-in of our current old unit.
