- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation will be open for less than 30 days, in accordance with FAR 5.203(b).� Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-20-Q-8417. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 511210.� The Small Business Size Standard is 41.5M dollars.� This action is being processed on a sole source basis to The QT Company.� The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) Office for Small Business Programs concurs with the sole source determination.� NUWCDIVNPT intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to The QT Company for the following: CLIN������������������ ��������� Item Description���������������������������������������������� � Qty 0001������������������� QT Design Tools (36 months)���������������������������������������3 ����������������������������������������� Part #: 9500������������������������������ 0002������������������� QT for Device Creation License (36 months)�������� �3 ����������������������������������������� Part #: 8300 This notice is not a request for competitive quotes.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. See attached sole source justification. The required period of performance is as follows: CLIN 0001: 36 Months from Date of Contract Award CLIN 0002: 36 Months from Date of Contract Award F.O.B. DESTINATION, Naval Station Newport, RI 02841.� Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular.
