- Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Sources Sought Notice Obtain preventative maintenance and emergency support services to properly maintain back-up diesel air compressor This is a Sources Sought notice and not a request for quotes. This request is solely for the purpose of conducting market research to enhance VHA s understanding of your company s offered services and capabilities. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted in response to this Source Sought Notice. This Sources Sought notice provides an opportunity for respondents to submit their capability and availability to provide the service requirement described below. Vendors are being invited to submit information relative to their potential to fulfill this requirement, in the form of a capability response that addresses the specific requirement identified in this Sources Sought. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is seeking to obtain preventative maintenance and emergency support services to properly maintain the back-up diesel generator located in Connecticut. The standard of services shall be of quality; meeting or exceeding those outlined in the General Requirements section. Refer to the General Requirements section below for the requested service description. This Sources Sought is to facilitate the contracting Officer s review of the market base, for acquisition planning, size determination, and procurement strategy. General Requirements: (Note: these general requirements are subject to change) Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Services for Diesel Air Compressor Location of VA Facility: VA Medical Center 950 Campbell Ave Boiler Plant Building 16 West Haven, CT 06516 General Information: Title of Project: Diesel Air Compressor Preventative Maintenance Scope of Work: Provide preventative maintenance to boiler plant back-up Atlas Copco diesel Air Compressor # XAS-900-JD8-FT4-HB-PFF serial # HOP082047 Preventative maintenance services shall be completed Monday through Friday, 0700hrs to 1530hrs on a date and time mutually agreeable between the VA and the Contractor. All work shall be per OEM guild lines, all maintenance records shall be kept on file with the vendor, and a copy provided to the VA at the conclusion of each job. The Contractor shall supply all labor, tools, equipment, materials and disposal required for maintenance. Contractor shall provide 24/7, 365 coverage for afterhours calls to allow for emergency response. The Contractor shall supply a quote for all emergency repair work and receive approval prior to any emergency work being performed. Interference to Normal Facility Functions: The contractor may be required to interrupt their work at any time as not to interfere with the function of the facility, including facility repair etc.. In the event of an emergency, contractor services may be stopped and rescheduled at no additional cost to the government. Shall fallow all codes for local, state, federal.
