Description
I Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group requires a secure, password-protected, web-based application to support the following activities: Collection, analysis, and language translation for PAI including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tumblr, Weibo, VK, blogs, and news articles. Access to 100 percent of available data is strongly desired (vs. data sampling). Automated language translation should include, but not be limited to, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Haitian Creole, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Analysis capabilities should include basic statistics (top users, words, hashtags, mentions, URLs, re-posts, languages, and locations), map display (with geo-coded data, geo-referenced data, geo-profiled data, and geo-fencing and filtering), influence discovery, community detection, sentiment analysis (in multiple languages), media gallery (with OCR and translation), named entity recognition, social engagement metrics, bot detection, topic modeling, and social and friendship graphs. Raw data should be fully searchable and exportable. Application should be customizable, allowing users to filter by analytics and set alerts. Analysis of image and video files including but not limited to face detection, co-occurrence, object detection, face recognition, weapon detection, extremist flag detection, and military object detection. Users should be able to create custom face recognition datasets, but standard sets should also be provided (e.g., world leaders, extremists, UN sanctions) Image/video metadata should be accessible. Application should support analysis of images and videos collected from PAI sources. Ingestion and analysis of text from multiple file types, including but not limited to Microsoft Office documents, Open Office documents, Apple iWorks documents, PDFs, Emails (Unix, RFC822, and .msg), HTML, Java class files, .jar archives, XML, Rich Text Format, EPUB, JPEG, and TIFF. Application should support full-text search with Boolean logic and operators. Automated language translation should include, but not be limited to, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Haitian Creole, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Application should support extraction of images embedded in documents. Application should provide analytics including but not limited to named entity recognition and resolution, topic modeling, and entity relationship graphs. Automated, real-time discovery of emerging trends in PAI including but not limited to Twitter, Telegram, VK, Blogs, and News. Application should support user-editable monitors collecting posts/documents. Monitors should support up to 500 keywords. Trend analysis should be user-configurable to examine custom windows of time within the dataset (e.g., any particular hour, day, or week). Data should be exportable for analysis in other tools.
