- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.� This solicitation number is NICHD-20-104a and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).� The solicitation/contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-06.� The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 541380 and the business size standard is $16.5m.� However, this solicitation is not set aside for small business.� This acquisition is being conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.� Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) intend to procure on a sole source basis with Singulomics - 1300 Morris Park Ave., Bronx, NY to provide scRNAseq sequencing and analysis services. Service to include performing high-throughput single-cell transcriptome profiling on the 10x Genomics Chromium Platform, utilizing cell-by-cell 3� end counting of mRNA transcripts. The NICHD can construct single-cell libraries ourselves, with assistance of single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq) services. Singulomics can provide end-to-end services, allowing a more detailed analysis. The analysis will include the gene expression analysis, T-SNE, UMAP, and aggregate analysis. Description: 1. 10x Chromium single cell RNA-Seq library sequencing - Qty 80 2. Data Analysis � Qty 80 3. Hard Disk (12 TB) - Qty 2 EA Data analysis to includes - Demultiplexing - Quality control - Sequence alignment - Quantifying expression levels of each cell - Clustering of single cells to identify subpopulations - Aggregate analysis combining multiple samples together to enable comparison across conditions (advanced analysis) Singulomics has extensive background in Single-cell genomics that is highly valued by the researchers.� They provide industry-leading single-cell sequencing data analysis for scRNAseq.�� The advanced analysis provided by Singulomics is also highly valued. The service(s) requested is part of ongoing work in which Singulomics was involved.� Singulomics already has the resources and materials needed to complete the work.� Singulomics and NICHD will continue to work with those same resources and materials/sample type, with a different cohort of patients.� �However additional samples and sequencing and analysis work is required. Thus, this procurement will provide for additional samples along with sequencing and analysis services for continuation of the ongoing work by Singulomics and NICHD.� The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of the 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1), FAR 6.302.� Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
