Description

THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 13, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This synopsis/solicitation 1305M220QNCND0194 constitutes as a request for quotes (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-06����������� The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service (NOS), Grays Reef National Marine Sanctuary, SKIO Dock, Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, 10 Ocean Science Circle, Savannah, GA 31411 has a requirement for repair services on the NOAA R/V Joe Ferguson R4106 in accordance with the attached Statement of Work.� The period of performance is 30 days after receipt of the order.� This RFQ is 100% small business set-aside associated NAICS code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of $7.5 million. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract based on lowest price technically acceptable. Please see attached Statement of Work for details. Additionally, each offeror must provide the following information with the quote: The Request for Quote (RFQ) number; The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS Number of the Offeror; Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ. Quotes that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration; Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments (SF-30), if any. Submit no more than three past performance references similar in size and scope and completed or in progress within the last three years for meeting this requirement. A site visit is strongly encouraged. Quoters are strongly encouraged to inspect the vessel/engine on which services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves as to all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of the performance of the contract, to the extent such information is reasonably obtainable.� In no event shall a failure to inspect the vessel/engine constitute grounds for a claim after award of the contract.� The address for the site visit is Grays Reef National Marine Sanctuary, SKIO Dock, Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, 10 Ocean Science Circle, Savanna, GA 31411.� Government Contact Point (GCP) for Site Visit:� LTJG Justin Miyano, Justin.miyano@noaa.gov, (912) 598-2432. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.sam.gov/. The Government does not accept responsibility for non-receipt of quotes.
