- Notice Of Intent: In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The 52nd Contracting Squadron, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, intends to solicit single-source to BioFire Defense LLC. IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). A determination by the Government to not compete the requested item, based on the received responses to this notice, is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Item Description: One (1) each� FilmArray 2.0 analyzer with Laptop,Peripherals Kit, Hard Sided Case, Standard 1 year Warranty, and Training at BioFire Defense (Product # FLM2-ASY-0103) Inquiries and responses must be submitted in writing via email to Anja Weber-Sabo at anja.weber-sabo.1.de@us.af.mil not later than 5 days from posting this notice.
