- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a sole source�contract�to NOR-RAL, Inc., 164 Hickory Springs Industrial dr., Canton, GA 30115, for the procurement of a quantity of two (2) each of the following Lockheed Martin Part Numbers (P/Ns):� P/N 972874-101 Spacer Assembly, NSN 5365-01-272-3750; P/N 972874-102 Spacer Assembly, NSN 5365-01-272-3751; P/N 972875-101 Spacer Assembly, NSN 5365-01-272-3752; P/N 972875-102 Spacer Assembly, NSN 5365-01-272-3758; P/N 972877-101 Spacer Assembly, NSN 5365-01-272-3757; and P/N 972877-102 Spacer Assembly, NSN 1560-01-287-3698 in support of the P-3 Program.� The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1.� The Government does not own current data drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition.� NOR-RAL, Inc. is the Certified Lockheed Parts Licensee for the required P/Ns, and are the only company with the drawings and specifications to meet the requirements of this procurement.� No solicitation package is available for this procurement.� THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.� This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.� Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract.� The Point of Contact is Cheryl Abele, (732) 323-2800 or cheryl.a.abele@navy.mil.
