Description

Presolicitation Notice Proposed Solicitation Number: 70Z03820RH0000002 The USCG, Aviation Logistics Center, Long Range Surveillance Division, Elizabeth City, NC 27909 intends to solicit and negotiate only with Leonardo Electronics, 5025 Bradford Drive NW, Suite 100, Huntsville, AL under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is for repair and support services for the Seaspray 7500E Radar System installed on the USCG�s HC130H aircraft fleet. The USCG does not possess, or have the ability to obtain, the technical/engineering data necessary to repair the components or maintain the Seaspray 7500E Radar system. Component repair services shall be performed at a contractor owned and operated facility, and the contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, and other resources required for contract performance. The Government anticipates award of a single Indefinite Delivery, Requirements type contract using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12 in conjunction with FAR Part 15. The anticipated one (1) year contract will have four (4) one (1) year option periods, for a maximum period of performance of five (5) years. The solicitation will contain radar component descriptions, estimated repair quantities, and a Statement of Work. As required by FAR 5.207(c)(15)(ii), the solicitation will state that all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency
