Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) will be hosting a Virtual Industry Day Event on Wednesday 24 June 2020 from 0900 to 1700 (Eastern Standard Time, USA).� The purpose of the Virtual Industry Day Event is to brief the NSWCPD Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) for Maritime Sustainment Technology and Innovation in order to provide a more detailed look at the Government�s requirements and to enhance the collaborative environment for all interested parties.� The objective of this event is to provide Government information and solicit industry feedback to help NSWCPD inform the way forward, with a focus on the DRAFT Maritime Sustainment Technology and Innovation Concepts. Registration is required to participate in the Industry Day through the following website: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/nswcpd-industry-day-maritime-sustainment-technology-and-innovation-ota-tickets-107104239664 Registration will close on 18 June 2020 at 1630 EST, or when the maximum participant limit is reached whichever occurs first.� Registration requests outside of the Eventbrite website will not be accepted.� Due to the virtual nature of this event and the limited conference line availabilities, each company is restricted to two (2) separate registrants. Companies are encouraged to optimize internal technical solutions to maximize the number of participants.�� Due to the virtual nature of this event, the networking of attendees typically afforded in the Industry Day setting is limited.� NSWCPD plans to post the Eventbrite attendee list containing Company name and contact information to afford an opportunity for Consortium Firms as well as current and potential Consortium Members the ability to collaborate and connect.� Registrants must consent at the time of registration for the company information and registrant contact information for the information to be shared.� All information will be shared at the conclusion of the event via betaSAM.gov and the NSWCPD website.� There is no cost to attend this event. The Government�s presentation will be broadcast via teleconference. The teleconference number will be distributed to all registered participants by NSWCPD with a calendar invite using the Eventbrite registration information. The Industry Day teleconference line will open at 0900 on 24 June to provide participants 30 minutes to verify connectivity. The Government�s presentation will begin promptly at 930 on 24 June. One-on-one virtual engagement sessions will be conducted during the second half of 24 June. Engagement sessions are one-on-one virtual meetings between the Government and individual Consortium Management Firms to ask questions and provide feedback to the Navy. In order to provide mission-focused outreach for the event, NSWCPD will only schedule one-on-one sessions with Consortium Management Firms.� Engagement session slots will be available in twenty (20) minute increments available on a first-come, first-served basis to Consortium Management Firms ONLY. �Consortium Management Firms shall indicate on the registration form if your company is interested in scheduling a one-on-one engagement session. The Government will forward assigned timeslots to individual companies via separate correspondence prior to Industry Day. �Any company that receives a one-on-one engagement session must provide a teleconference number to use during the session and forward to the Government�s POCs no later than two (2) days prior to the session, along with any presentation information as necessary.� For planning purposes, teleconference numbers must be able to accommodate up to 30 Government representatives on the line. Notional Schedule for the Industry Day 0900 � 0930: Opening of Conference Line 0930 � 1100: Part 1 Government Presentation 1100 � 1300: Break/Lunch 1330 � 1700: One-on-One Engagement Sessions, limited to Consortium Management Firms only All respondents are invited and encouraged to provide feedback, submit questions, make recommendations or address specific topics of concern no later than 22 June 2020, to Contract Specialist Michael D�Elia at michael.delia@navy.mil with the subject line ""Industry Day: NSWCPD OTA for Maritime Sustainment Technology and Innovation"". �The Government will make every attempt to address all submissions during the Industry Day Briefing.� There will NOT be any question and answer session or opportunity provided during the Virtual Industry Day event.� Any questions, suggestions or recommendations that arise during the event MUST be emailed to Contract Specialist Michael D�Elia at michael.delia@navy.mil within 24-hours from the end of the Industry Day Event.� NSWCPD intends to post the Industry Day Event Briefing, including all questions and answers received prior, during and after the event, along with a registered attendee list in order to promote collaboration, within three (3) days of the event via betaSAM.gov as well as the NSWCPD website.� DISCLAIMER: The NSWCPD Virtual Industry Day Event is for information only and does NOT constitute a Request for Consortium Agreement. All Industry Day events will be held at the UNCLASSIFIED - For Official Use Only (FOUO) level and the information presented by the Government is considered Distribution Statement D.� Any and all information presented during this event shall not be construed as a contract, a promise to contract, or as a commitment of any kind by the Government. The Government is NOT seeking or accepting agreement proposals. The Government does not intend to award an OTA on the basis of this event alone. This event is solely intended to provide information to Industry for planning and projections purposes and the gathering of market intelligence information for planning purposes in accordance with the DoD OT Guide. The Government WILL NOT PAY for or compensate any respondent or attendee for any cost incurred in attending, participating or providing information as a participant in the Virtual Industry Day Event or One-on-One Virtual Engagement Sessions. �Proprietary information, if any, shall be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. The Government will not release any information marked with a proprietary legend to any firms, agencies or individuals outside the Government without written permission in accordance with the legend. No sensitive or classified information shall be discussed. Foreign-owned, controlled, or influenced firms are advised that security restrictions may apply that may preclude their participation in these efforts.
