- To: All Interested Respondents/Parties: The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) seeks market information related to services that strengthen the oxygen ecosystem for immediate COVID-19 response and longer-term, sustainable health systems. Focus geographies include sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. Specifically, USAID is requesting information in the following areas: ? Installation and/or scale-up of bulk liquid oxygen on a permanent or temporary basis (e.g. field hospital), including install of a storage vessel, facility preparation (e.g. piping) ? Installation and support for skid-mounted PSA plants, particularly distribution networks, installation capacity, and technical assistance; ? Repair and maintenance skid-mounted PSA plants, including identification of nonfunctioning skid-mounted PSA plants, ability to repair, and capacity for setting up improved maintenance processes and training; ? Installation and support for oxygen concentrators with sufficient flow (e.g. 8-10+ LPM) and pressure (e.g. 50 PSIG/3.4 Bar) to support invasive ventilation, particularly distribution networks, installation capacity, and technical assistance; and ? Provision of any other services to support safe and effective oxygen therapy (including, but not limited to, health care worker training, biomedical engineer training). You may receive an electronic confirmation acknowledging receipt of your response, but you will not receive individualized feedback. Revisions may be considered based on feedback, but there is no obligation. This is purely for market research purposes. Per FAR 52.215-3, the Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation or award on the basis of this RFI. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in the preparation and submission of responses. Responding to this RFI will not give any firm or organization any advantage in subsequent solicitations or procurements; responses will be held confidentially, and proprietary information should not be provided.�
