Description

CDC�s Division of Global Migration and Quarantine (DGMQ) works to reduce morbidity and mortality among immigrants, refugees, travelers, expatriates, and other globally mobile populations, and to prevent the introduction, transmission, and spread of communicable diseases from foreign countries into the United States.� To carry out this work, DGMQ oversees quarantine stations across the United States and Puerto Rico.� During a U.S. Government-wide response (such as Ebola) the current level of staffing at these quarantine stations needs augmentation to assist with screening, triaging, consulting with state health departments and following up for travelers arriving from affected areas.� DGMQ requires contractor support to provide non-personal support services during such a response. This follow-on task order is a short-term requirement containing one base period of 2 months followed by one option period of 1 month.� An award by 04/30/2020 was required to ensure no gap in service during CDC's COVID-19 response efforts, and to allow time for a competitive contract or task order to follow. This limited-source task order will be followed by a competitive contract or task order.
