U.S. GOVERNMENT Pre-solicitation 7CA3300 General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: California City: Carlsbad Delineated Area: City Limits of Carlsbad Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 8,000 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 8,500 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 23 Full Term: 10 years Firm Term: 10 years Option Term: Two 5-year options Additional Requirements: Law Enforcement Agency Offered locations shall: Provide access to the space 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. Regular hours of 7:00 am to 5:30 pm Be at least 300 feet from: Fuel storage areas Gas Stations Chemical manufacturing facilities Railroad lines transporting hazardous material Day care centers Senior centers Schools and universities Hospitals Religious/Rehabilitation/Social Services Public defenders Internal Revenue Service Probation Offices Immigration and Customs Enforcement Foreign powers on National Security Threat List The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Carlsbad, CA, that will be expiring.� The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous.� In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government�s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
