Description

MCRD San Diego and Weapons Field Training Battalion, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton (WFTBN, MCB Camp Pendleton), train Marine Corps Recruits, Drill Instructors, and Recruiters. During training, these Marines are issued a variety of uniforms for wear throughout their Marine Corps career. The uniforms they receive must be tailored to meet Marine Corps standards as set forth in the Marine Corps Uniform and Alterations Manual (TM 10120-15/1B). This requirement is for tailoring services of Marine Corps uniforms to comply with TM 10120-15/1B and as set forth in the schedule and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Fitting and marking actions are all conducted at MCRD San Diego. The alterations of uniforms by the Contractor shall be accomplished in accordance with strict time frames dictated by training schedules.� Each separate training command has its own training schedule for each company of Recruits, class session of Drill Instructors, class session of Recruiters and class session of Career Planners. The Government, along with the Contractor, must work closely to ensure all uniforms are fitted, tailored, and returned to the individual within the time frames established by the training schedules and incorporated into this contract.
