Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing�s (BEP) mission is to develop and produce United States currency notes, trusted worldwide. As its primary function, the BEP prints billions of dollars, referred to as Federal Reserve notes, each year for delivery to the Federal Reserve System. As part of the printing and delivery process, Stack and Rack Carts (also referred to as Carts) are used for separating wet work during the drying process after Intaglio printing. These carts are specific to press size and include several accessories including: metal rods and security hoods. The purpose of this requirement is to establish a single contract for carts and security hood to be used between the BEP and the Federal Reserve Board. Contractor shall provide the BEP with finished carts and accessories for use in the internal production process. Offers shall be submitted to frederick.porter@bep.gov and gladys.wilks@bep.gov no later than 1:00 pm EST, on Wednesday, 03 June 2020.
