- NSN 7R-1620-015300327-QF, TDP VER 004, QTY 7 EA, DELIVERY FOB ORIGIN. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intendsto solicit on a sole source basis with Safran Landing Systems Canada Inc (Cage Code 35962) for the purchaseof a supply for the repair of the following item in support of the F/A-18 aircraft: NSN: 7RH 1620 015300327 QF ITEM NAME: SHOCK ABSORBER,DIRE There are no drawings/data available. This source is the OriginalEquipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source for providingrepair support of the above repair part. The Government does not own thedata or the rights to the data needed to purchase this part from additionalsources. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement,proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Only OneResponsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will SatisfyAgency Requirements. Source Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), assupplemented by FAR 6.302-1. Source Approval Statement applies to this NSN. The approved sources forthis material are listed above and it is expected that award will be made tothis firm. Any firm which is not already approved to manufacture thismaterial must submit a Source Approval Request, SAR. This procurementwill not be delayed to wait for a SAR approval. NAICS CODE: 1620 Contract Duration will be 12 months. IUID WILL APPLY. BUY AMERICAN AND/OR TRADE AGREEMENTCLAUSES WILL APPLY. The Government intends to acquire these supplies using the provisions,clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 15. Based upon marketresearch, the Government is NOT using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies. Interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government willconsider all proposals received within 5 days after date of publication ofthis synopsis. Information received will normally be considered solely forthe purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This procurement is not a Total Small Business Set-Aside. No telephone requests will be honored and no hard copies will be mailedout. Electronic solicitation procedures will be used. Anticipated award date by 07/01/2020.
