Description: The St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation(SLSDC) requires and employs personnel who are fully qualified crane operators. In the event of emergency repairs or major maritime incidents in and around Eisenhower and Snell Locks in Massena, NY, the SLSDC depends on multiple and various government owned cranes to respond safely and efficiently. The cranes operated are typically hydraulic all terrain cranes with up to 170 ton lifting capacity. The operation of government owned Stiffleg derrick cranes may be required as well.�Due to the Covid19 Pandemic staffing levels suddenly became quite low and there was need for support in the case of work load increases or in emergency situations.
