- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22, is issuing this notice of intent (NOI) to inform industry contractors of the Government s intent to execute a Sole Source award under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), specifically FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items with TrillaMed, LLC., located at 30100 Telegraph Road, Suite 366, Bingham Farms, MI 48025. This requirement will be used for Preventive Maintenance, Inspections, Licensing and Support Services of TempTrak Remote Temperature Tracking System for the at VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) Bio-Medical Engineering Department. VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) Bio-Medical Engineering Department is requesting a single source procurement for Inspections, Licensing and Support Services of TempTrak Remote Temperature Tracking System at the VASDHS. Specific tasks include: 1. Provide all services included in the I-Care 24/7 Remote Support- Silver Package- which included: on-site support technician, 24/7 help desk emergency support, all software upgrades, unlimited web training seminars, and semi-annual remote access system review/checkup and report. 2. Provide customer with electronic copy of the field service report to include a detailed description of any services or repairs performed for each item of the equipment and must include a listing of the replacement parts, total hours of services, safety check, performance data and date. The proposed period of performance will be from 6/15/2020 through 6/14/2021- Base Year + four (4) Option Years. The estimated value is of $93,935.00 for the life of the contract. This procurement is being conducted using commercial item procedures pursuant to FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, specifically FAR Subpart13.106-1(b)(1)(i) allowing the Contracting Officer (CO) to solicit from one source. This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award and an anticipated award date is set for 6/15/2020. The place of performance is as follows: VA Medical Center-San Diego: Ho Samuel B MD at 3350 La Jolla Village Dr, San Diego, CA 92161. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is, 811219- Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The Small Business Administration size standard for this sector is $22.0 Million. This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
