- 20 April 2020:� Virtual Site Visit #2 (16 April 2020) information posted. 13 April 2020: Amendment 0002 has been issued.� Proposal due date is extended to 30 April 2020.� A second virtual site visit is scheduled for 16 April 2020.�� 25 March 2020:� Powerpoint presentation from Virtual Site Visit posted. 24 March 2020:� Attendee list for Virtual Site Visit posted. 19 March 2020: Amendment 0001 has been issued.� No extension will be granted for this change. The Government hereby�issues the solicitation for the Fabrication and Replacement of Intake Gates and Draft Tube Bulkhead at Fort Randall Dam in Pickstown, South Dakota.� The solicitation will close on 14 April 2020 at 2 p.m. CT.�� The solicitation is Unrestricted and open to both large and small business participation. All contractors must be registered and have an active and verified account in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive a contract from any DoD activity.� Contractors may access the internet site at https://www.sam.gov/ to register and/or obtain information about the SAM program.� Contractors must ensure that the applicable NAICS code is included in their proposal prior to submission of offer. Project Description:� Including all options, there are six (6) intake gates and one (1) draft tube bulkhead gate being replaced at Fort Randall.� Fort Randall has an upcoming major powerhouse rehabilitation involving the turbines.� The Government has determined these replacements necessary to satisfy maintenance needs while still having emergency closure capabilities at all units.� NAICS Code:� The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is NAICS 332312 �Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing� with a Small Business size standard of 500 employees.
