Description
Fiscal Service Procurement on behalf of the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) intends to award to Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) on a Sole Source basis for conference registation fees. The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) is the world's largest anti-fraud organization and premier provider of anti-fraud training and education. It is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. The ACFE is regarded as the foremost authority in the global fight against fraud. The annual conference provides more than 100 anti-fraud educational sessions for TTB personnel to choose from. Education session tracks provide excellent training to improve participants' ability to detect and deter fraud, which provides significant organizational benefit and aligns with TTB's high revenue and fraud mission emphasis. The ACFE is the host organization for the 31st Annual ACFE Global Fraud Conference. As the host organization, it is the only company that can provide registration to attend this conference. Due to the evolving situation with COVID-19, the event has been moved to a robust online virtual platform. This conference qualifies for up to 30 CPE credits and provides TTB's Certified Fraud Examiners and Auditors the needed training to meet their continuing education requirements. The ACFE Annual Global Fraud Conference is offered only by the ACFE, one time per year. Fiscal Service/TTB will consider affirmative responses received no later than June 3, 2020 at 3:00 pm ET.
