- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment, implied or otherwise by the Government, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The purpose of this Request for Information is to identify potential sources capable of performing the effort described herein pursuant to FAR part 10, Market Research and FAR part 19, Small Business Programs. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered market research and used for planning purposes only. Any information submitted by respondents to this Request for Information is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this notice as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose, and should refrain from providing proprietary information in the response. 1. INTRODUCTION: This is the initial step in the planning process for an Avian Radar system in Albuquerque, NM. The 377 MSG/PKA at Kirtland Air Force Base seeks sources with the capability and interest to provide the following: An Avian Radar system. 377 MSG/PKA anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this effort. The effort is expected to result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. NAICS code is anticipated to be 488190, size standard $35 million.� 2. INSTRUCTIONS: All interested respondents capable of providing lodging are invited to respond electronically with a Statement of Capabilities (SOCs) demonstrating the ability to meet the potential requirement. Statement of Capabilities are limited to 2 pages, and should address the following: 1. What types of systems your company can offer. 2. Capabilities of your available systems. 3. Has your company done business with the government in the past? 4. Is maintenance provided after installation? Responses shall include company name, address, DUNS number, CAGE code, point of contact with email address and telephone number, and �indicate business size (small business, small disadvantaged business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business, woman-owned small business, or HUBZone) using NAICS 488190, size standard $35 million. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this notice. Small business respondents should provide a statement of capabilities to assist the Air Force in making a set-aside decision.
