- Description
- Amendment 0001 issued to 140P1420R0004 for the following: Response to questions submitted: 1. Question: On the weed free backfill bid item, does that material come from a contractor furnished source outside the Park, or does the government have a source somewhere inside the Park? Response: The weed free back fill will be contractor furnished from a pit outside the Park. The latest pit report for acceptable pits is attached. 2. Question: On the ""terminal section"" bid item, it appears this LF quantity is off. Usually they are paid by the Each, as they are 37.5 ft long. Could you clarify that? Response: Changing the Terminal Section Unit of Measure to Each 3. Question: Do you have a detail on the object markers? Are they all remove and reset existing markers, or are is the intent for the contractor to purchase new markers and posts and install them? Response:Object Markers are detailed on sheet labeled 617-10 G4 W-BEAM GUARDRAIL WOOD POSTS. See Note #4 They will be new purchased by the Contractor and installed every fourth post. This will apply to the metal posts also. 4. Question: Is Marty Powell going to be the COR for the entire project or would there be a different COR depending on the location of the guardrail section? Response: COR will be determined at the Task Order Level 5. Question: Would the contractor receive another Mobilization for each time they move into and out of the Park? Currently it alludes to the fact that we would get one Mobilization per year. For an example if we completed the section or sections that the Park wanted completed and left the Park and then got called back to do another section; would that constitute another mobilization? Response: They will receive one mobilization per Task Order. If there are multiple sections in different locations on one Task Order they will receive one mobilization to and from the park and a Demob and Remob rates for mobilizing to a different section within the park under one period of performance. The intent of this solicitation is to obtain proposals for an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to include a base plus four option years for guardrail install and repair in Yellowstone National Park. The Government anticipates awarding a minimum of one (1) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity firm-fixed price contract. The maximum value of this contract is guardrail up to $1.3 M including options. The minimum guarantee is $10,000.
