- This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers � Tulsa District has been tasked to solicit for and award a contract for a the resurfacing of the Crest Road at the El Dorado Lake�in�Butler County, Kansas.� The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed price contract procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts awarded to the lowest-priced, responsible offeror, whose quote conforms to the requirement of the solicitation. The Government is seeking qualified, experienced sources capable of performing the following: The scope includes the application of State Specification approved 1.5 inch road rock on the El Dorado Crest Road at the El Dorado Dam near El Dorado Kansas.� Final product will result in a levelled, graveled road surface that is easily travelled by standard and heavy vehicles.� The work site is the currently existing crest road that begins at the eastern access gate and travels west until the road and rip rap interface ends.� In accordance with DFAR 236.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated duration of the project is�30 calendar days. The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 237310 - Highway, Street and Bridge Construction, which has a small business size standard of $39.5M. Small Businesses are reminded under FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, that they must perform at least 15% of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with their own employees for general construction-type procurement. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Anticipated solicitation issuance date is on or about�12 June 2020, and the estimated proposal due date will be on or about�29 June�2020.
