- Description
- The Naval Medical Logistics Command intends to modify contract N62645-16-P-2041 by adding additional Precision ProCare equipment (Part Numbers: HH9030, PC9001, 502537030, 502937030, 502537010, 240060100, 240080230, 3105000100, 6400-015-000W, 6400-034-000W, 6400-037-000W, 6400-099-000W, and 6400-000-000W).� Maintenance for the medical equipment shall include unlimited telephone support, regularly scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, calibrations, corrective maintenance tasks, and unlimited emergency repair actions by the field service personnel.� The equipment will be added to the upcoming period of performance on the contract and subsequent option years which continue services through 31 July 2021. Stryker, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), is the only company with the technical expertise and knowledge to repair this endoscopy equipment and surgical systems. The technology and designs are proprietary to the Stryker Corporation and, in many cases, patented. As such, Stryker will not divulge this information to entities outside its organization. No other vendor besides Stryker is capable of meeting the minimum requirements. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures (FAR 13.5).� There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811219.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement.� However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Capability statements shall be submitted by email only as a MS Word or Adobe PDF attachment to Derek Bell at derek.j.bell.civ@mail.mil (in subject line reference: N62645-16-P-2041).� Statements are due no later than 10 June 2020, 2:00 PM EST.� No phone calls accepted.
