Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE and no award is to follow. Pursuant to FAR part 10 (Market Research), the United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, Small Boat Product Line, Baltimore, MD is seeking qualified sources that are capable of satisfying the agency�s requirements by providing Two (2) mobile boat hoists, including current hoist disposal, delivery and assembly of new hoist, training, and maintenance at the designated U.S Coast Guard Units: Station Cape Hatteras (35 Metric Tons) and Station Grays Harbor (50 Metric Tons). Each mobile hoist shall be IAW attached statement of work. The anticipated NAICS Code is 333923 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. Interested parties should register in the System for Award Management (SAM) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33. SAM can be obtained by accessing the internet at www.beta.sam.gov or by calling 1-866-606-8220. The requirements will be for two (2) industrial grade standard production model lifts consisting of coordinated components and certified by the manufacturer that meets the required tonnage for each station. The model shall have been in production for a minimum of three (3) years and have a two (2) year manufacturer�s warranty. Companies having capabilities to provide these items are invited to submit complete information discussing their capabilities no later than the close date of this notice, May 29, 2020 at 4:00pm EST. The information submitted must include:� 1. Name of Company, Address and DUNS Number 2. Point of Contact, Phone Number and Email 3. Business Size applicable to the NAICS Code (If Small Business, must identify concern) 4. Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate capability including acceptability of the offered parts (i.e., salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics) 5. Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the OEM. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response to this Sources Sought Notice. The Government reserves the right to use any information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate, including using technical information provided by respondents in any resultant solicitation. At this time no solicitation exists; therefore, Please DO NOT Request a Copy of the Solicitation. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation notice and solicitation may be published on beta.SAM.gov website. It is the potential vendor�s responsibility to monitor beta.SAM.gov for release of any future solicitation that may result from this Sources Sought Notice. However, responses to this Sources Sought Notice will not be considered adequate responses to any resultant solicitation.
