- This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number W913E520Q0019 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).� This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 � Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) has a requirement for a research grade environmental growth chamber with the following specifications: General: A research grade environmental chamber with a physical size of (104�W x 35�D x 98�H) to fit in the current space of our previous growth chamber. Electrical interface: 208 volt 3 phase 60 hz Operational characteristics: Operational temperature range -10 to 35 deg C with the lights on or off. LED Lighting that provides 1000 micromoles of photosynthetically active radiation per square meter at 30 cm Humidity range 50% to 85% Carbon dioxide levels from 0 to 2900 ppm Alarm interface: Wired alarm contacts to connect to building alarm system Digital interface through software integration. Programming interface and data logging ability: The unit must have the ability to be programmed with multiple command lines controlling all aspects of the chamber�s operation (light, temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide additions) with a resolution of 1 minute increments. The unit should have built in data logging and graphing capabilities for the chamber variables, 30 second sampling time and a minimum of 5 days of built in history. Offer an optional remote software, connected through the local wired network, which allows unlimited data retention and a logging interval as low as 6 seconds Training: at least 4h of training for up to 2 CRREL personnel consisting of operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and, any appropriate software tutorial. � Please reference the attached RFQ for applicable provisions and clauses.� The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: ability to meet the required technical specifications and price.
