Description
NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Mechanicsburg is seeking eligible small business contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to procure a Voltmeter that meets the specifications of the attached purchase description (PD). NAVSUP WSS intends to establish a 5-year Long Term Vehicle. This requirements contract will have a base of three years with two one year options. The forecasted yearly demand for this item is 30 units. It is anticipated that a commercial voltmeter can be modified to meet the attached PD. Therefore, this requirement will be based on FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15. The solicitation for this requirement (N0010420RLA31) will contain additional information that outlines this requirement. For instance, pricing is not requested initially. The offerors will be required to submit a Bid Sample that will be evaluated by the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL). If the submitted sample units are determined technically acceptable by NRL, the vendor will be asked to provide pricing. This two-step process will be used to determine the Lowest Price technically Acceptable (LPTA). One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the Free Trade Agreements Act and/or the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may identify their interest and all responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government.
