- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Class (CL) V Ammunition Movement� THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors, a minimum of 2 or more, qualified small businesses responding to this sources sought notice with information sufficient to support a set-aside acquisition strategy. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes � it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB, or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any service(s). Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids, or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ or IFB or RFP, if any is/are issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Government-wide Point of Entry. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the Government-wide Point of Entry for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The anticipated NAICS code(s) is: �481112 - Scheduled Freight Air Transportation NAICS Size: 1,500 Description of Services: This is non-personal services contract to provide the transport of Government property.� This contract is in support of the United States Government (USG) located on Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Washington (WA).� The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services as described in this Performance Work Statement. The contractor shall furnish all required equipment, materials, qualified personnel, and means of transportation to transport��CL V Ammunition�from JBLM, WA to the American��Institute in Taiwan (AIT) located in Taipei, Taiwan and other designated areas within Taiwan. The Contractor shall�deliver, clear and turn over�the property�to the USG personnel at the AIT by the required delivery date.�� The Contractor shall adhere to all applicable customs regulations, US Army Regulations, and applicable laws (domestic and international) while transporting the CL V.�The Contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. Reference Attachment 1: Performance Work Statement for�further details. Instructions to Potential Respondents: Companies that desire to participate in this sources sought are encouraged to submit a response which supports the company's claim that it presently has the qualifications, experience, and capabilities to satisfy the requirement. The response should discuss the company's ability to adapt and/or provide existing�means�to support this requirement. Specifically, any interested companies are requested to provide the following information: 1) Name of the Company 2) Business DUNS number, CAGE code ans small business size status. 3) Point of contact and phone number 4) Size of Business according to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 481112. 5) Other suggested NAICS codes for this�requirement and your size classification based on these codes. 6) Company certifications, if any. 7) Identify whether your�company is interested in competing for this requirement as a prime contractor or not. Identify subcontracting, joint ventures or teaming arrangement that will be pursued, if any. 8) A brief summary of your company's experience and past performance within the past 3 years as it relates to this requirement. Each company experience (Government or commercial) should include (a) name of the project, (b) a brief description of the project, (c) the relevance of the contract/project to the requirements in this notice. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES (IN FULL OR IN PART) OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are hereby invited to submit a response to this notice, by 1200 PM EST on 3 June 2020.
