Description

This is a notification that the Army Contracting Command (ACC) intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract under statutory 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This contract will be awarded to IET LABS, INC; 1 Expressway Plaza No. 120; Roslyn Heights, NY 11577. The U.S. Army TMDE Activity has a requirement to purchase 47 Self Programmable Decade Box (Resistance) (Substituter) with 4 terminal Spade lugs connectors. The Self Programmable Decade (Resistance) Box will replace both manual decade resistors and individual resistance standards, including full automation capabilities for the manual and aging HARS Resistance Standards up to 20 Mega Ohms.� (Reference the attached, redacted Sole Source Justification and Approval (J&A) memo). The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334515 and the size standard is 750 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; therefore, a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of the requirement would be beneficial to the Government and their capability to respond to his requirement. The Government will consider responses received by the established due date/time set forth in this notice. If no affirmative written responses are received by 12:00 pm (CST) on 26 May 2020, award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing via email to both points of contact. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
