Request for Information (RFI) � Potential King Air 350i or Pilatus PC-12 USED Aircraft Procurement� - �Aircraft Technical Requirements Attached - 1.�� �AUTHORITY FAR 52.215-3 Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (Oct 1997)� 2.�� �DESCRIPTION This is a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in FAR 15.201(e). This RFI is issued in order to identify commercial sources available for King Air 350i or Pilatus PC-12 USED Aircraft Procurement efforts. In accordance with FAR 52.215-3, this RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue any kind of solicitation in the future. This RFI does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any goods or services whatsoever. Further, the United States Marshals Service is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are reminded that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP/RFQ, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Contract Opportunities website at https://beta.sam.gov/. It is the responsibility of the potential respondents to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 441228 Motorcycle, ATV, and All Other Motor Vehicle Dealers (Aircraft and Used Aircraft Dealers).� 3.�� �BACKGROUND This is a market survey for planning purposes and no award will be made as a result of this. The Government may use the information provided to develop a comprehensive acquisition strategy and solicitation. The findings from this Market Research effort may impact future solicitations related to this requirement. The USMS Investigative Operations Division (IOD), is seeking information from responsible sources and commercial agencies concerning the purchase of a used King Air 350i or Pilatus PC-12 Aircraft to fulfill its unique mission objectives. The Government is interested in communicating with Industry early in the planning stages in complete transparency in an effort to satisfy this urgent government need. The Government is interested in feedback from the commercial market on the requirements listed in this RFI that may be available.� 4.�� �QUESTIONS TO INDUSTRY Interested potential sources should respond by answering the following questions: 1.�� �What is your business size, small or large, and socio-economic status? In case of a small business, what is your firm�s small business status to the identified NAICS code? 2.�� �Is your firm registered with the System for Award Management at https://www.sam.gov/porta 1/public/SAM/? 3.�� �Does your firm currently have the sought after aircraft available, fulfilling the attached technical requirements?� 4.�� �What is the standard lead time from order placement to delivery of the aircraft? 5.�� �What is the rough order of magnitude or price range for the aircraft(s) of proposed type(s)?� Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI electronically, to the Contracting Officer, Gregory M. Any questions/submissions concerning this announcement shall be in writing.
