Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice (Request for Information). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is seeking qualified vendors, who are interested in a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the capabilities and experience to perform the following services in the delivery of title evidence of specific land parcels. The agreements will be issued in accordance with FAR 13.303. The agreements will be valid for a period of�one (1) �year and four option years�from the date that the Master Agreement is established. Call orders will be placed against the BPA as services are required. The Vendor shall deliver each order in accordance with the specific call order being issued. Estimated land parcels to be for ownerships of land within parishes of Louisiana (mostly southeast). Vendors are required to provide 100% of the item(s) listed in each BPA as follows: � Issuance of Tract Ownership Data (TOD) � Interim Binders (Policy Commitments) to include mineral searches (minimum search period of 60 years) � Title Report to accompany Interim Binders - Source materials to be provided upon request of the real estate attorney. � Title updates � Final Title Policy Issuance to conform with 2016 Department of Justice Standards. � Copies of Supporting Documentation (i.e., trusts, wills, etc.) as requested A Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) as defined by FAR 13.303(a) is a simplified method of filling anticipated repetitive needs for supplies or services by establishing quote mark charge accounts quote mark with qualified sources of supply. The award of a BPA does not guarantee nor obligate the Government to any orders to a BPA holder in any way. When a requirement for supplies listed within the BPA arises, the Government shall compare prices of all BPA awardees and select the BPA holder that offers the best value to the Government. This should not be construed as a Request for Quote or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a purchase order/agreement on the basis of these sources sought or otherwise pay for information solicited. Interested parties shall be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Acquisition Strategy: The acquisition strategy will be determined after evaluation of all responses to this announcement. Requirement: Vendors responding to this announcement are requested to demonstrate in writing its capability to perform the work for this project by addressing the following items: Provide the Firms name, address, firm size and socio-economic status. �Corporation which is to issue title policies and title services hereunder, is authorized and qualified in the State where the land is located. �Vendors shall knowledge that in all instances they shall adhere to the Department of Justice, Title Standards 2016, or any successor thereto as may be in existence at the time of delivery.
