THIS IS A FOLLOW-UP REQUEST FROM NOVEMBER 2018 THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.� REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.�� This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential sustainment support sources and to determine if this effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside.� This is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research.� No funds are available to fund the information solicited. �The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Propulsion Directorate (AFLCMC/LP) anticipates issuing a solicitation in FY21, to provide for repairs, overhauls, sustainment, and sustaining engineering of the KC-46�s PW4062-3 (military designation: F139) engines. This sources sought is to notify interested companies that the U.S. Air Force is seeking sources for the repair of the PW4062-3/F139 Engines. This includes light, medium and heavy repairs to the engine, repair of the LRUs and corresponding logistics support to include warranty management, logistics management and field service representatives. The interested concern should have the capability to repair and test the engines ensuring that it is serviceable ready and prepared for installation having no adverse effect to the quality and reliability of the engine. The source must possess any necessary license agreements with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to obtain rights to all required data, including military specific modifications.� Additionally, the contractor would need to perform Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) and Air Force approved service bulletins, Time Change Items (TCIs) and One Time Inspections (OTIs).
