Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is NCNL4000-20-00755 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-06. This is a small business (SB) set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 334511 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. The following items are to be acquired: Line Item 0001: R8S-CFG-001-43 Trimble R8s - Base and Rover Mode Quantity: 1 Each Line Item 0002: R8S-CFG-001-42 Trimble R8s - Rover/Network Rover Mode Quantity: 1 Each All items shall be shipped FOB Destination to the following address no later than 30 May 2020: National Geodetic Survey ATTN: Ryan Hippenstiel 538 Front Street Norfolk, VA 23510 The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, does not apply to this acquisition, as the Government intends to award this requirement on a sole source basis. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their offers. The clauses at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. This is a noncompetitive action. The attached Single Source Determination provides rationale supporting a noncompetitive award to the intended source, Duncan-Parnell, Inc. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Offers are due no later than the date and time indicated at the top of this notice and shall be emailed to the Contracting Officer at sarah.appleman@noaa.gov.
