- Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in�Kenya�will launch�the�solicitation on the beta.SAM.gov website when it is available. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government.� All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. � The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation for taxi�services to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The Contractor shall provide passenger transportation services, vehicles with drivers for the U.S. Embassy, Nairobi.� The Contractor shall also provide all managerial, administrative, direct labor personnel, vehicles, drivers (if required by the Work Statement), communication equipment, all running expenses (i.e., fuel, oil, etc.), and including all servicing and insurance of such vehicles that are necessary to accomplish all work required by this contract. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov� prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.� The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at: https://www.fsd.gov/fsd-gov/learning-center-system.do?sysparm_system=SAM
