- This is NOT a solicitation or request for quote (RFQ). This is NOT a request for proposal (RFP). This is NOT a job advertisement for hiring employees. The VA is seeking QUALIFIED VENDORS to provide a very brief response to this notice including only just what is asked for in this notice below. This is sources sought notice to industry and the only information is posted on Contract Opportunities web page at https://beta.sam.gov/. Sources sought means seeking qualified vendors. The attachments included on the Contract Opportunities page do not include any additional information. If your company is interested please read this notice entirely and submit the required information, as requested herein. VA is seeking current qualified sources ( vendors ) who have interest and capability of repairing 2003 John Deere Mower at Sheridan VA Health Care System, 1898 Fort Road, Sheridan, WY 82801. The 2003 John Deere mower (S/N: TC1600T080145) has hydraulic leaks from the oil pump and motor. There are metal particles in the oil, which damaged the hydraulic system. The mower will need new components (i.e. new hoses, O-rings, pump) to return the mower back to full operation. It is preferred all damaged parts be replaced with new John Deere parts. A qualified vendor is one who has had experience performing repairs of a similar size, scope and complexity on a commercial capacity in the last 3 years. A qualified vendor would have industry certifications that match this requirement. Additional qualifications include current and valid registration in System for Award Management (SAM), https://www.sam.gov).
