Description

The Anthropology Team, Combat Capabilities Development Command Soldier Center (CCDC SC), Natick Contracting Division, intends to award a firm, fixed-price contract under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), only one responsible source, to 3DMD LLC Atlanta, GA 30339, for�a Dynamic High Resolution Head Scanner (Image Capturing System) to collect anthropometric data for the U.S. Army. 3DMD LLC is the only known source that is capable of providing a system that can capture a complete (360 degree) 3D head and neck image within a few milliseconds and record such 3D image sequence every 0.1 sec or less as the person�being scanned is able to move his/her head freely during the scanning process based on the result from a Request for Information,�W911QY20RDHRHS. This is not a request for quotes. No solicitation package is available. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
