- Sources Sought for Depopulation and Disposal Assets Suppliers.� �� BACKGROUND: The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), National Veterinary Stockpile (NVS) is seeking information regarding the Depopulation and Disposal Assets Suppliers. The NVS� ability to deploy within 24 hours large amounts of critical veterinary resources ensures States have what they need to respond to catastrophes and other outbreaks. �The NVS seeks information on depopulation and disposal assets. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: USDA APHIS Veterinary Services is seeking to acquire information from vendors that have the capability to provide, operate and/or transport supplies and equipment that can be leveraged in response to national pandemics or catastrophic animal health emergency. Describe your company�s capability of providing and/or operate the following: � Depopulation Equipment Needs: (10) 8� X 30� Roll Off Dumpsters (6) Roll Off Trucks (20) Heavy Duty 12� X 36� Tarps (100) 18� Rubber Tie Down Straps w/ hooks (200) 4� X 10� framed hog panels (26) 4� X 10, hog panel gates (400) 6� T-Post (1) 300� spool �� rope (2) 330� Rolls 10 Gauge Braided Wire (2) Load Off Ramps to unload from Semi pot trucks to the corral (6) 8� Heavy Duty Ladders (1) Semi Tanker w/ CO2 (1) Whole House CO2 Trailer w/ equipment including hoses and 4 manifolds (2) Captive Bolts w/ ammo Disposal Equipment Needs: (3) Horizontal grinders = or > 515 horsepower (e.g. Vermeer 4000 or larger) (2) Excavators (minimum one cubic yards) w/ thumb to feed hogs into grinder. �� 8) Front End loaders (minimum two cubic yard bucket).� �� (2) Front end loaders to move hogs to excavators. �� (2) Front end loaders to feed carbon into grinders.� (2) Front end loaders for moving carbon from drop to processing.� (2) Front end loaders to load processed material onto compost pile (880 loads) 75 cubic yards per load of shavings for 40,000 300# plus pigs Turnkey Hog Kill Chute������ Pneumatic captive bolt gun + air compressor Leak-proof covered container/truck CO2 tanker, 400k Site needs: (4) Port-a-Johns bathrooms (3) Portable hand washing stations (1) 10� X 20� mobile office building (1) 20� X 40� Tent for employee breaks and dining area (1) Potable water system for employee drinking water or coolers with iced bottles of water� Provide a list of equipment and number of personnel to operate Describe your knowledge and/or experience working with Agriculture Equipment.
