- G:EPREF, Cyclic Exterior Painting of Visitor Center, Comfort Station and Shelter Park/Unit: Horseshoe Bend National Military Park, DAVISTON, AL Magnitude: Approximately 6,515 square feet of surface area. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000 Subpart D National Volatile Organic Compound Emission Standards for Architectural Coatings apply The current standard low-VOC paint fewer than 250 g/L; zero-VOC paints less-than 5 g/L requirement. AMENDMENT OF SOLICITATION is issued to make changes [RED TEXT] in the specifications within the general scope of the contract. A. Atch 1, SOW_Paint Specifications has been revised 4-27-2020 (IBA) B. Exhibit A List of Contractors at the Site Visit (public posting) C. Extend closing date for receipt of Quotes thru 05/05/2020 1100 CT This is a Request For Quotation. The National Park Service seeks pricing and availability from residential or commercial painting contractors (insured and bonded) that possess a valid contracting license recognized in the State of Alabama. The contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, materials, and equipment for Surface Preparation and Application of Caulking, Sealants and two (2) coats of Specified paint to exterior surfaces of the Visitor Center (5747 SF), Comfort Station (568 SF) and Shelter (200 SF) at the Horseshoe Bend NMP. Approximately, 6,515 square feet of total surface are to be painted, which include, but not limited to, the Exterior Wall Surfaces, Overhang Surfaces, Trim, Doors and Superstructure. The park is located at 11288 Horseshoe Bend Rd in Daviston, Alabama (Tallapoosa County). All work will be performed under a single contract. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site to assess the condition of the surfaces to be painted and to verify the size of the buildings.
