Description
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this notice is 334515 - Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals, Size Standard 750 employees, Product Service Code 6625 - ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC PROPERTIES MEASURING AND TESTING INSTRUMENTS. NAVSUP FLC Philadelphia intends to solicit on other than full and open competition basis for Rohde & Schwarz Portable Monitoring Receiver (PR-200) Systems for the Navy and Marine Corps Spectrum Center (NMSC). The procurement is being processed through other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority of FAR 13.501(a). The government intends to solicit and negotiate with authorized resellers of Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc., who holds the proprietary information for their Rohde & Schwarz Portable Monitoring Receiver (PR-200) Systems and its associated ancillary equipment, on a sole source basis. The requirement is for Rohde & Schwarz Portable Monitoring Receiver (PR-200), associated Omnidirectional Receiving Antenna (HE600) and HE600 support accessories (IN600 Bias antenna port, KM011Z9 adapter, HZ1 tripod mount) and warranty. Equipment, antenna and accessories required to replace antiquated or unrepairable equipment currently in use at regional NMCSOs. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals received within two days after the date of publication of this request for information - RFI. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed procurement action based on the responses received is solely with the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. Standard brochures and/or paraphrasing of the contents of this announcement will not be sufficient to demonstrate the capabilities of an interested party.
