- Description
- Synopsis The Puerto Rico Air National Guard (PRANG) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for the Repair of Building 3 at Punta Salinas, Cata�o, Puerto Rico. The renovation consist of all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work. The primary purpose of the project is to convert this facility into open space office area for the new Combat Communications Mission. This will require repair and upgrade to the entire building envelope inside and outside, roof (new roof treatment system) and entire interior of the building. New Electrical Room, Communications Room, and entire electrical infrastructure (Power distribution, Lighting distribution, Fire Alarm and Detection systems, electrical ground system), new finishes inside and outside, doors, roof system, windows, reflected celling, HVAC units, floor tiles and bathroom areas. Place of performance is at Punta Salinas Radar Site, Toa Baja, Puerto Rico 00949. Magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Construction/contract completion time is 180 calendar days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 16�May�2020. The tentative date for the site visit conference is on 11�May�2020�at 09:00 AM. This site visit will start in building 16, at PR 165 Punta Salinas Radar Site, Toa Baja, PR 00949. To expedite base access, we would need the following documents before the date of the site visit: Firm Name and Telephone Number Visitor�s Name Copy of Drivers License or any Identification Card in compliance with the Real ID Act Citizenship DD Form 369 Puerto Rico Certificate of Good Conduct The Bid opening will take place on the aforementioned address on 15 June�2020�at 10:00am. Specific details will be posted in the solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend a site visit and shall follow base access requirements shown in the solicitation. All questions and requests for information (RFI) must be received not later than 13�May�2020 at 5:00pm local time. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. The evaluation factor is price. The Government intends to award without discussions. Interested offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM).
